Christopher Bilbao, D.O.
Friendly, honest and caring, Dr. Bilbao provides his patients the answers and information they need to make informed decisions when planning their care.
In addition to general neurosurgery, his clinical interests include the treatment of primary and metastatic central nervous system tumors, awake craniotomies and neurocutaneous disorders.
He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 and completed his residency in the greater Philadelphia area. At Stanford University, he finished a fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery/neuro-oncology, treating more than 700 patients using CyberKnife technology and was involved in clinical studies that investigated the effects of stereotactic radiosurgery on metastatic diseases.
Dr. Bilbao puts patients at ease by understanding their goals, providing options and by encouraging patients to choose a treatment path that’s right for them, based on the best possible outcome. He gains a lot of personal satisfaction from helping change patients’ lives for the better.
When he’s not working, Dr. Bilbao spends time outside, running and biking.
