Dr. Nayar is a highly skilled neurosurgeon specializing in both brain and spine procedures, with advanced expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS), complex spinal deformities, and robotic-assisted techniques. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, one of the nation’s premier training programs.

Following his chief residency, Dr. Nayar pursued additional advanced training through a year-long AO Spine fellowship and a Complex Spine Surgery fellowship at UPMC, where he trained under internationally recognized spine experts. He also completed specialized training in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, gaining expertise in the multimodal treatment of brain tumors. His research contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications in spine and neurosurgical journals.
